Milestones
1991 Aastha Eye Centre started in year 1991 in 14 X 9 sq ft. area wherein
10 X 9 was assigned for consultation and 4 X 9 for patients waiting in
congested NIT 1 market of Faridabad
1997 Expansion of center at 5P/59 NIT, Faridabad with induction of PHACO
machine
2006 Dr Karuna Gumber joins AEC after serving 20 years in ESI
hospital, Faridabad.
2008 Aastha Eye Centre emerges in the bigger and brighter format at present
address 5R/5, NIT, Faridabad with the induction of EXCIMER LASER for
removal of glasses
2010 INFINITY PHACO machine acquired for MICS (FIRST IN TOWN)
2012 YAG LASER acquired for posterior capsulotomies.
ICL & C3R started (FIRST IN TOWN)
2017 Dr Abhishek Gumber joined Aastha Eye Centre after acquiring skills of
PHACO from Aravind Eye Hospital, Puducherry
2018 Expansion in another 1500 sq yard on Ground floor with state of the
art modular OT complex
Infinity PHACO emulsification machine upgraded to Centurion silver
PHACO machine which is top in line machine for cataract surgeries
2019 A very good functional space created for neat and clean laundry on
first floor
A conference room with good ambience and seating capacity of about 25
persons made functional after acquisition of a SONY projector and a 7 *5 screen
Up gradation of optical corner installed by nationally recognized chain
2019 Our sincere efforts were appreciated and approved by Quality Council of India
and we got NABH accreditation.
We are first proud recipient of this highly acclaimed accreditation in Faridabad.
